Jody Ross Johnson, born January 11, 1977, in Memphis, TN passed from this life August 2, 2017, at his home in Hernando, MS while surrounded by his loving family.

He was the owner and manager of Johnson Electric Services, Inc., the third generation to operate the family business. Jody will be remembered for his quick wit, competitive nature, and his love for his family, friends, faithful pets, and Ole Miss football.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church (3810 Bethel Rd; Olive Branch, MS), with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary at Bethel Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Rev. Bill Connolly has the honor of officiating the services for Jody. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Emogene Johnson of Olive Branch, MS; and Mary R. Johnston of Hernando, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Jody's memory to the charity of the contributor's choice.
