SUZANNE R. CATRENICH DEVORE
Suzanne Catrenich DeVore, 62, passed away August 1, 2017. She was born in Knoxville, Iowa on March 18, 1955 to Bill and Betty (Hollingsworth) Catrenich. Suzanne graduated from Chariton High School in 1973.
She was a member of Y-Teens and 4-H during high school. She worked as a CNA for one year at the Chariton Manor in Chariton. She has also worked as a bartender at the Prairie Street Pub in Russell, Iowa, The Store, in Chariton, and the Williamson Tavern in Williamson, Iowa.
Suzanne was married to Rex DeVore on October 5, 1986. The couple lived in Williamson, Iowa until coming to Westridge to live.
Suzanne enjoyed doing crochet, crafts, reading, word and jig-saw puzzles, playing hand-held games, Bingo, parties, bowling and entertainment. She also liked to help with setting up the bingo prize cart, craft groups and helping with the facility newsletter and other mailings.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Betty Catrenich and husband Rex DeVore. Left to cherish her memory are brother Bill (Connie) Catrenich of Ankeny and sister Marie Van Ginkle of Des Moines, along with many other family and friends who will miss her deeply.
