Joe Earl Campbell 60, of Matador, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 in Plainview, Texas. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, in Matador, Saturday, August 5, 2017; beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at the East Mound Cemetery.
Joe Campbell was born on July 17, 1957 in Matador, Texas. He was a member of the Motley County community for most of his life. He graduated from Motley County high school and attended junior college a short time after.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his mother, Renomia Campbell, five brothers, Lester Campbell, Dwayne Campbell, Cledel Campbell, Charlie Campbell and Dwight Campbell; six sisters, Janice Brown, Georgia Davis, Bobbie Brown, Audrey Campbell, Brenda Campbell and Yolanda Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Campbell.
