Jack was employed by Hammermill Paper Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. While residing in Erie, Jack was an active member of St. James R.C. Church, where he and his wife, Kay, coached basketball, and volunteered at various church functions. Jack served in WWII as a Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Jack loved fishing, golfing, bowling, and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, "Kay" Katherine Hurn Christie; one son, Patrick Christie; one grandson, Brian Christie; and two sons-in-law, Roger Frazier and Col. Robert Poux, Jr. Jack was also preceded in death by his siblings.
Jack is survived by his three children, Cheryl Frazier Adams (Ken), John "Jack" Christie (Peggy) and Susan Poux; eleven grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, with Military Honors.
