David passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 29, 1953 in Newark, Ohio to the late David H. and Donna Jean (Walters) Milligan.
David was very active with his family, especially his grandson, Parker. He loved to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at T.J.’s where he was well loved. According to his niece, Donna, David was the one person who was always bringing the family together. He proudly represented his country by serving in The United States Army for twenty-one years before retiring. He served in Desert Storm and was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Milligan and Justin Milligan; two daughters, Wendy Tester and Jennifer Milligan; a brother, Dwayne (Deborah) Milligan; a sister, Delia Mikell; and grandchildren, Lexi Milligan, Parker Milligan, Bryalyn Milligan, Michael Tester, Leeland Milligan and David Milligan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet E. (Berry) Milligan; a son, David Milligan; and a brother, Daniel Milligan
Memorial contributions may be made in David’s name in care of the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Tee Jays for the care they gave to David over the years and to his special niece, Donna (Milligan) Gonzales.
