December 30, 1950 - July 31, 2017

Judith “Paulette” Garner, 66, passed away Monday, July 31 in Amarillo. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Burgin Funeral Home, 200 S. McGee in Borger. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m.Thursday, August 3, 2017 at The Venue, 201 N. Hedgecoke in Borger. Graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. at Spring Lake Cemetery in Spring Lake, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Burgin Funeral Home.

Judith was born in Lubbock, Texas on December 30, 1950 to Chester and Meck Lee. She married Billy Garner in 1970 in Spring Lake. She was a hair dresser, and most recently was a secretary for Panhandle Community Services, a job which she enjoyed very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy “B.J” Garner; sisters Pauline Cooper and Beverly Swink; and nieces Shawnlee Perry and Audra Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Billy, of the home; a daughter, Misty Garner; and her sister, Becky Perry and husband Clinton, all of Borger.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Shawn Garner, Aiyanna Garner, and Bella Garner. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Christy Leann Armendariz, Angela Perry, Jonathan Perry, Janice Aikens, Alan Williamson, Carolyn Furr, and Haskell Swink Jr.

Mrs. Garner was born Dec. 30, 1950, in Lubbock to Chester and Meck Lee. She married Billy Garner in 1970 in Springlake.

Survivors include her husband, Billy; a daughter, Misty Garner; a sister, Becky Perry, all of Borger; and three grandchildren.
