Debra Lynn May, age 56, of West Penn Street, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana. Born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on November 10, 1955, to the late James and Ethel Edwards May, she was a farmer and factory line leader. Debra attended Cynthiana Baptist Church and was a member of Cynthiana Elks Lodge #438.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Jimmy Perraut; and a half-brother, Eddie "Buddy" English. She is survived by: a daughter, Michelle Renee May, of Cynthiana; a step-daughter, Pammy Perraut, of Cynthiana; a brother, Ricky Todd (Christal) May, of Cynthiana; a half-sister, Ruby Moses, of Harrison County; a niece, Callie May; four nephews, Austin May, Jason May, Jon Welch and Mike Welch; a very special friend, Vickey French; and her special "adopted" children.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Ware Funeral Home by John Welch, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Michelle R. May Funeral Account for Debra May, in care of Farmer's National Bank, P. O. Box 188, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
