"Nici" attended Battle Creek-Ida Grove Community Schools and graduated from Odebolt High School May, 2000. She had been employed in the parts department at Midwest Industries for the past two years.
Nici was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake. She enjoyed roller skating, driving around in her car listening to music, playing with her nieces, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her parents: Gilbert and Phyllis Davis of Arthur; two brothers, Gailen (Melinda) Davis, and Gerald Wayne (Sondra) Davis, all of St. John, Ks.; five sisters, Gwyanda (Clyde) Harker Rauch of Grant City, MO., Gaynetta (Jim) Snyder of Browning, MO., Gwendolyn Sue (Don) Jackson, Bedford, IA., Melissa (Loren) Mammenga of Little Rock, IA., and Faith (Dan) Brotherson of Odebolt, IA.; 15 nieces; 3 nephews; 2 great-nieces; and many other extended family members and friends.
Nicole was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Effel and Frank Hein; and her paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Irene Davis.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake, Iowa. Burial will be in Hayes Township Cemetery, rural Arthur. Visitation with the family present will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Christensen-Huffman Funeral Home in Odebolt, Iowa.
