Edith Mae (Dundore) Fitzgerald, 87, of Exeter Township, died July 31, 2017 in the Villa St. Elizabeth, Reading.
Born in Reading, PA on January 28, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Teresa J. (Rheinwalt) Dundore.
She was employed as a box maker for over 20 years with Becon Container, Birdsboro, retiring in August, 1995.
Edith loved playing bingo, the organ and rescuing animals.
She had no filter and would tell you like it is.
Edith is survived by a daughter, Suzanne M. Fitzgerald of Reading and several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by a grandson, Jeffery A. Miller of Livermore, California.
Edith was predeceased by a son, James L. and his wife, Alicia (Leal) Fitzgerald.
She was also predeceased by her five siblings: Alma Moser, Robert Dundore, Raymond Dundore, Arlene Barrell-Kocher and Leonard Dundore.
Services will be held Friday, August 4th at 11:00 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am until time of services.
Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
