James Harold Morris, 85, of the Harris Station community passed away 6:05 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Harold was born August 2, 1937, in Trimble, son of the late Homer and Frances Rebecca (Bone) Morris. He married Joyce (Faulkner) Morris December 13, 1963. Harold served in the United States Army during the Korean War and served in the 913th Tennessee National Guard in Union City. He had been employed at the former Sta Rite and the former Gurien Finishing Company both in Union City and was a member of Harris United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Morris of the Harris Station community; four daughters, Margie McMillin (Jeff) of Martin, Deana Lee (fiance Richie Barrett) of Kenton, Debbie McDonald of Counce and Lisa Cathey of South Fulton; one son, Edward Morris (Amy) of Union City; two sisters, Rita Reams (Edward) of South Fulton and Freida Luker of South Fulton; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Polhamus and Paula Galloway; and three brothers, Woody Morris, Ray Morris and Wayne Morris.
