Norma Lee Wise, 78, of Richardsville, VA passed away Sunday July 30, 2017, at UVA-Culpeper Hospital. Mrs. Wise was born in Washington, D.C. to Alton S. Henderson and Grace Paxton Henderson May 16, 1939. She retired from civil service working for the U.S.D.A.
Mrs. Wise is survived by her husband, Gary M. Wise, Sr. ; her children, Debra Ann Wise, Gary M. Wise, Jr. (Cynthia) and Wendy M. Palensky (Michael); grandchildren, Clifton W. Johnson, Nicole L. Sampson, Brianne L. Palensky, Hailey M. Palensky, Emily E. Palensky, Madison P. Palensky ; a great-granddaughter, Alana L. Sampson and a sister Martha Lippard. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Mildred Via.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 3:00p.m. with burial in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD, Monday, August 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Tim Atkins will conduct the service.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Faith Baptist Church, 2033 Tucked Away Place, Lignum, VA 22726. Online condolences may be offered through clore-english.com.
