Mrs Nena Oliveros Person, 55, of 1818 Marion Street, designer of the iodine label used in South Carolina and well-known and much beloved in Columbia, died at the late residence at 7:10 Thursday evening after an illness of about one week of bronchial pneumonia followed by influenza.

Mrs Person was talented in many ways. she was an artist of considerable ability and an expert in scroll writing. She was the daughter of Dr Esidro Oliveros and Mrs Rosa Oliveros of Orangebur.

She is survived by 1 son, R O Person Jr; 1 daughter, Mrs Nena Blackwell. Uncle Dr G A Nueffer of Abbeville.

Interment in Presbyterian Churcyyard in Orangeburg.
