DIED.
At the residence of Daniel B. Kincheloe, in Fairfax County, Va., his son LEWIS J. KINCHELOE, in the 23d year of his age. On the 18th ultimo, he bade adieu to earth, to enter upon the enduring joys of Heaven. His sufferings were great, and protracted; but no murmur ever escaped his lips. He associated but little with this world. Its pleasures charmed him not. He seemed instinctively conscious that his days would be few; which caused him quietly and unassumingly to close his heart to earthly pleasures, and prepare for the mansions which had been prepared for him above. On Sunday morning, he received the summons. He went in peace, and is now united with his loved ones "who went before," and employed with them in praising Him who redeemed them, "with His own precious blood."
