Catherine Schaf, sometimes Schaaf, Schaff, Schaaf also Chaufe, Schoff "dit" Mouton meaning sheep was bapt. Nov. 20, 1708 Schoenbourg Bas-Rhin, France.[ Catholic Church Microfilm No. 0796874] She was the daughter of Hans Jacob Schaff Mouton [aka Perrine ] and Anne Marie Foltzloger both natives of Keffenach Bas-Rhin, France. Catherine was the widower of Antoine Jacque BONVILLIAN born he was bon abt 1700 in France and died March 26, 1736. Married about 1728/1729 Point Coupee, La. Antoine was killed in the war with Chickasaw Indians. Three children born to this marriage.

1 Jacque Bonvillian Jr. born abt 1730 married Charlotte St Ives, abt 1759,, daughter of [Francois St. Ives and Marie Anne Sauvagin ], Charlotte was born abt. 1746, Charlotte St. Ives Bonvillain died and buried Jan. 22, 1777 Saint James Parish, La. [SJA-1,56] Volume 2, page 104 Diocese of Baton Rouge Catholic Church Records.
