Biography

Jenny Kaye Myers passed away at her home in Beaver, Utah at the age of 73 on July 28, 2017. She was born on February 1st, 1944 to Clifford Adams and Peggy Anderson Stapley in Beaver, Utah. Anybody who were to come across Jenny couldn't help but to love her genuine personality and dear smile that everyone knew and loved. If you were having a bad day, you know Jenny would be there to make you laugh. She attended Beaver High School and later married Boyd Myers in January of 1961. Jenny and Boyd decided to be sealed in the St. George Temple in 1973 in which they knew that they would love each other for eternity. Together they had five beautiful children and decided to move to Oregon to raise their family. After only six days of their youngest child, Kristal, being born; Boyd was in a vehicle accident that took his life away in 1974. Jenny decided to move back to Beaver, Utah during this difficult time to be closer to her family. During these years, she gained many talents such as gardening, cooking, sewing, plumbing, carpenter, painting; the list can go on and on. There wasn't anything that Jenny couldn't do. Knowing the strong, courageous woman she was, she also raised her five kids all on her own and did one heck of a job. Jenny is survived by her children Todd Myers (Lisa) of Beaver, Utah; Tony Myers (Lori) of Beaver, Utah; Amber Murillo (Oscar) of Beaver, Utah; Kristal Hale (Justin) of California; Brother Brent Stapley; Sisters Ruth Marshall, Bobbie Foreman, and Peggy Ann Stapley; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Jenny is preceded in death by the love of her life, Boyd Myers, daughter Tonja Crosby, Son in Law Robert Crosby, Parents Clifford Adams and Peggy Anderson, Grandparents Alpha and Herbert Stapley and John and Erma Anderson, Brothers Russell and Kelly Stapley, and many aunts and uncles. Jenny faced many obstacles and rough patches in her life, but still always kept her heart of gold and loving personality which is why her legacy will live on forever and ever.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Beaver 1st Ward Chapel (15 N 100 W, Beaver, Utah). Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
