David Wilhelm was born on June 1, 1960 in Austin Texas the son of Theodore Lorenz Sr. and Evelyn (Merkord) Wilhelm. He was baptized in Taylor Texas, and confirmed his faith at Faith Lutheran Church in Austin. David graduated from McCallum High School in Austin Texas. David resided in Rockport Tx where he worked for Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Servicing Agent helping clients all over the world. David was exceptionally respected for his expertise and skills in solving computer problems.
David was a devoted father, and was always ready to help his sons.
He is preceded in death by his brother Theodore Lorenz Wilhelm Jr. and sister Mary Jean Wilhelm.
He is survived by his parents Theodore Lorenz Sr. and Evelyn (Merkord) Wilhelm of Austin, son Justin Wilhelm of San Antonio, son Ryan Wilhelm of Rockport, brother Ted R Wilhelm and wife Charlotte of Bastrop, brother Chester Wilhelm and wife Janet of Elgin. He is also survived by his (ex-wife and friend) Pam Wilhelm
He is also survived by nieces: Amber Wittenborn and April Cmerek, and by nephews: Tanner Wilhelm and Dillon Wilhelm, and six Great-nieces/nephews: Hailey Wilhelm, Parker Cmerek, Alaina Wittenborn, Mason Cmerek, Barret Wittenborn, and Brody Wilhelm.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Ted R Wilhelm, Chester Wilhelm, Tanner Wilhelm and Dillon Wilhelm.
