Herman A. Freitag, 64, formerly of Taylor, died Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. at his home in Houston.
Mr. Freitag was born in Taylor, Dec., 19. 1891. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Baptist Church and had been in the blacksmith business. He had lived in Houston the past 25 years.
Funeral services were held in Houston Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and the body will be brought to Taylor Thursday by the Condra Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Taylor City Cemetery with military honors by the Graham D. Luhn American Legion Post.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Freitag; and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Kuempel of Taylor and Mrs. V.F. Norris of Thorndale.
