Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Mae Turner will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at the Frink Baptist Church. Mrs. Turner, 88, who resided at 1433 East Polk, died Monday at her home. Mrs. Turner had lived here for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Turner in 1924; a son, Frank Turner in 1960; a daughter, Mrs. Jackie Housdon in 1964 and two children in infancy. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. E. L. Logan of McAlester, Mrs. Porter Moore of Marlowe, Mrs. Bertie Ray of Sweetwater, Tex., and Mrs. Howard Williams of Annadale, Va.; two sons, Jim Turner of Bakersfield, Calif., and Carl Turner of McAlester; 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. Rev. Jim Boyd and Rev. James Kinney will officiate at the funeral. Interment will be in Chambers Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Humphrey Funeral Home. Grandsons will be active and honorary pallbearers.
