After a lingering illness Mrs. Frances B. Shope, widow of Dr. Jacob Shope, died on Thursday evening at her home on South Walnut street. She was aged 72 years and is survived by four children: B. Reilly Shope, Miss Laura Shope; Mrs. Clara Sigler, all of this place, and Victor E. Shope, of Lemoyne. The funeral will be held from her late home on Monday at 11a.m. Services' will be conducted by her pastor, Kev. J. R. Stonesifer. of the Church of God. He will be assisted by Rev. George Sigler, D. D., of Harrisburg. Interment, which will be private, will be made in the cemetery at St. John's church, of Shiremanstown.
