Miss Nannie never married. She and her sisters Lizzie and Mattie cared for their father; they were members of the Methodist Church. After his death, they lived together in their home place. For many years, Miss Nannie was a sales clerk for T. J. Hall in his dry goods store in Fairfield. She continued to work there after it was bought by Peyton Brothers.
