Larry Charles Barnes, 71, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Creek Nation Community Hospital in Okemah, Oklahoma. He was born November 15, 1945 in Springfield, Missouri to William R. and Ossie (Fry) Barnes.
He attended Coffeyville Schools. Larry joined the United States Navy and was discharged in December 4, 1962.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ossie Barnes and a brother, Donald Ray Barnes, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Tal Fry and Mr. & Mrs. Jake Barnes.
Graveside services for Larry Charles Barnes are 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata with Pastor Rob Crawford officiating. Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Benjamin Funeral Service.
