SOUTH BEND - Dwight Irvin Jackson passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Center for Hospice & Palliative Care. He was 61 years old. Dwight was born November 20, 1955, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of the late Annie L. Jackson and the late A.W. McKinstry. In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry D. Coleman and Ronnie Coleman, Sr., and grandmother, Dollie L. Stinson.
Surviving him are his sons, Dwight (Regina) Jackson, Dexter Jackson and Darren Jackson, all of Atlanta, GA. A granddaughter, Akida Jackson of Atlanta, sister, Linda (Terry) Walker of Milwaukee, WI, three brothers, Walter (Barbara) Jackson, Marvin Jackson, both of South Bend, Indiana, and Donald Coleman of Kokomo, Indiana, also survive him along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday with visitation one hour before the service at Cobb Funeral Home, 3525 S. Michigan St.
Burial will follow at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
