Mary Isabell Dalley Twitchell was born September 24, 1927 on a farm in Teasdale, Wayne County, Utah. She is the fifth of six children of R.J. and Margery Dalley.
She met Bob in Logan and graduated from U.S.U. Mary was a dietician.
They lived in Murray and Ogden and raised five children together: Ann, Dal (Bonnie), Chad (Joann), Kip (Kari), and Lane. Mary and Bob have 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and daughter, Ann Marsh.
She and Bob loved to travel. They faithfully made birthday phone calls to family and friends. She knew how to organize and feed people and used those skills as a member of the LDS Church. Mary was a great communicator. Many people loved Mary and she loved them in return.
The Twitchell family would like to thank George and everyone at Sunrise Care Center for all their loving care.
A viewing will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Homestead LDS Ward, 5600 South Vine Street (700 East) Murray, with a viewing at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment: Murray City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, or the Pheasant Hollow Care Facility in Holladay, UT.
