Mrs. Shelia Butler, 60, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2017, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Runnels officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Shelia was born August 6, 1956, to Royce and Marie Smith Moore.
She was a member of Singleton Baptist Church; she was a homemaker who loved to cook and specialized in making wedding cakes; she enjoyed arts and crafts; and taking care of her puppy, Princess.
Shelia is survived by
her husband, Scott Butler, of Louisville;
two daughters, Amy Curtis and husband, Jerry, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, and Tracy Lindsey and husband, Cody, of Cedartown, Georgia; and
three step-children, Carol Fulton of Edinberg, Mississippi; Jimmy butler and wife, Janie; and Jesse Butler and wife, Amber, all of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and
her sister, Sue Curry and husband, Ricky, also of Philadelphia.
One of her greatest joys was being “Grandma” to
10 grandchildren: Ryan, Bryce, Brandon, D. J., Emily, Chloe, Jessie, John, Jax, and Ellie.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Butler, Jerry Curtis, Mike Fuller, Cody Lindsey, Randall Livingston, and J. R. Sloan.
