Carol Elaine Goodwin, 72, of Waldorf, Maryland died July 27, 2017 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, Maryland.
She was the daughter of John McCarthy and Mary Kennedy McCarthy. She was also predeceased by her husband, William Carroll Goodwin.
She is survived by three sisters.
Carol was an Elementary School Teacher for 30 years with the Charles County Public School System, mainly teaching at Eva Turner Elementary School in Waldorf, Maryland and was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of La Plata.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 2PM until time of Memorial Service at 4PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel. Interment on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11AM at Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
