Obit from Messenger of Truth Issue 19, 1997:

Linda Dianne Moody Burdick was born on October 16, 1951, to James Frank and Camille Moody in San Francisco, California. She passed away on July 3, 1997, near Mariposa, California, as a result of an auto accident.
Linda, and her brother Greg, lived in a number of homes of relatives and friends of the family through her childhood and youth, most of which was spent in the Livingston, California, community.
She was married to Ernest Burdick until his death in November of 1980. To this union were born four children: LeAne, Christopher, Sarah, and Jennifer.
She appreciated greatly that her children were living in Christian homes and making decisions to personally serve God. She had a Christian experience years ago and for a time enjoyed life as a Christian and a member of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. It is a special comfort to the family that Linda expressed to various ones a desire to again give her life to God and return to the Mennonite church.
In June she enjoyed attending the wedding of Chris and Krystine, in Egypt, Mississippi. All the family was together and enjoyed a week of memorable activities. It was meaningful to all of the family.
She leaves to mourn her sudden departure: her mother, Camille and husband Arthur Borland, Yucaipa, California; her children: LeAne, Mrs. Mervin Wohlgemuth and daughter, Rimbey, Alberta; Christopher and wife Krystine, Egypt, Mississippi; Sarah Burdick, daughter of Les Giesbrecht of Winton, California; and Jennifer Burdick, Fruitland, Idaho; one brother, Greg Moody of Atwater, California; one sister, Kathleen Borland, Santa Cruz, California; and a grandmother, Ruby Unruh. Preceding her in death were her father and her husband.
Funeral services were held on July 8, 1997, at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Winton, California. Ministers Greg Dyck and David Koehn officiated. Burial was in the Winton District Cemetery, with Min. Chester Koehn in charge.
