Donna Mae Kelly, of Grand Rapids, MN, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born in 1926 the daughter of Theodore and Anna Frederickson in Willmar, MN.
She was united in marriage to Dr. Robert Kelly in 1950, they then moved to Nashwauk, MN where Dr. Kelly began his medical practice. They later moved to Grand Rapids in 1956.
Donna was active in many local charities, programs, and organizations, including the Women’s Club, A.A.U.W. Camp Fire, 4-H and P.E.O. Chapter BD. She also served on the Itasca Hospital Foundation Board. Donna will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Robert Kelly; daughter, Ruth Bently; son-in-law, Jon Bently; granddaughter, Jessica Mae Kelly; and five siblings: Alice, John, Donnel, Rudy, and Ruth.
Donna is survived by her children: Colleen (Mike) Aultman, Ted (Laurie) Kelly, and Betty Ann (David) Malmstrom; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Burial at Itasca Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
