Pearl Woody was the youngest child of Jonathan Woody and Samantha Caroline Naillon born in Walland, Millers Cove, Blount Co., Tennessee. She was very young when she married her mother's brother, Robert Taylor Naillon on November 12, 1909, in Blount Co., Tennessee. The Naillon and Woody families were from Cocke Co., Tennessee. He was the love of her life and they were blessed with 15 children between 1910 and 1937.


OBITUARY: Naillon - Pearl of Woodland, WA; Oct 22; mother of Roy T., Clarence, Robert and Marvin Naillon, Clara Torppa, Helen Rowland, Stella Oswick, Betty Grove, Veda Naillon, Iris Hakkinen, Vera Mason and Margaret Counts; 59 grandchildren; 89 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, Oct. 24 at 11 am. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Woodland, WA. Interment will follow at Washougal Cemetery. Haakinson-Groulx Family Mortuary of Clatskanie, OR in charge of arrangements.
