MILO H. BALDWIN
Funeral services have been tentatively set for Saturday at the First Presbyterian church for Milo H. Baldwin, 63, of 511 Boston Ave. Baldwin died Wednesday of carcinoma at the Illinois Central hospital in Chicago.
Mr. Baldwin had been night roundhouse foreman for the Illinois Central railroad in Waterloo. he had been an Illinois Central employee for 39 years.
He was born in Lewis Dec. 30, 1896, the son of Frank and Stella Carr Baldwin. He married Bertha Clouse on Feb. 11, 1918, in Marshalltown.
Mr. Baldwin was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the First Presbyterian church; Martin Lodge 624 AF&AM; Iowa Consistory of Cedar Rapids; El Kahir Shrine of Cedar Rapids; Waterloo Scottish Rite club; Waterloo Chapter 128, Order of Easter Star; Madonna Shrine 47, Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem; Illinois Central Supervisors club, and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Douglas M., Waukegan, Ill.; his mother, Mrs. Stella Baldwin, Garrison; three brothers, Glen, Ft. Dodge; Leo, Garrison, and Ivan, Cedar Rapids, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
