She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Noel Dean Hamilton, a sister Juanita Johnson and two grandsons, Jason and Matthew Amos.

On Saturday April 13, 1946, Pauline Hamilton was united in marriage to Wilbert W. Amos and to this union one daughter and one son were born.

Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Wilbert, of the home, daughter, Glenda Stratton, and her husband, Steve; son, Gary Amos and his wife, Diana, all of Lebanon, Missouri; granddaughter, Jane Ann Massey, of Ozark, Missouri; grandsons; Josh Amos and his wife, Stephanie; Joseph Stratton and wife Laura, all of Lebanon, Missouri. Six Great-grandchildren; Austin, Josie, Paula, Samuel, Isaac, and Hannah. As well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Pauline was raised in the Falcon community and graduated from Competition High School in 1945. She was a longtime member of the Orla Baptist church and attended as long as her health allowed. Her faith was very important to her throughout the years. She was very generous and sensitive to the needs of others.

Through the years she and Wilbert owned and operated their own farm where they raised cattle. Her career in education was a passion and she loved teaching children to better themselves. She was active with the Retired Teachers Association, as well as being involved in the Gideon Ministry for many years.

In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, oil painting and doing Brazilian embroidery. She was very loving, beautiful and honest, with a pure smile. Time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was very special to her.

Pauline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, caring neighbor and friend to many. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A memorial has been established to the Orla Baptist Church Building or the Gideon's and can be left at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
