Gail S. Langley, 55, of Vinton, died Sunday, October 5, 1997. God called home one of his special angels.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Edge Sanders, her mother, Bertha Christine Sanders and her sister, Edith Marie Sanders.

She was a loving wife and mother who leaves behind her husband, Jimmy R. Langley, Vinton; two daughters, Tracy L. Langley, Richmond, Nancy Langley, Vinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy R. and Karen S. Langley, Reston; four sisters, Sue Blaylock, Arlene Tate, Nell Biggers and Barbara Butts; one brother, Donald Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was a member and Sunday School teacher at Lynn Haven Baptist Church in Vinton, where funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 1997, with interment to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
