Marjorie was born on May 15, 1924 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late William Albert Williams and Nora Bell Smith Williams.
She was a volunteer at St. Mary Hospital in the gift shop and Sweetwater Methodist Hospital also in the gift shop for many years. Marjorie loved dancing, the Houston Astros, bowling, playing bridge with her bridge family. She loved people and never met a stranger.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Michael Rhodes; daughter, Janet VanBrocklin; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Lloyd Rhodes; sister, Mary Francis Kiber and brother, Emery Williams.
Interment: Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas
