ONEIDA - Richard P. Winn Jr., 50, of Warner Street, Oneida, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica.
He was born on Oct. 11, 1966, in Oneida, a son of Richard P. and June Walker Winn Sr. He was a graduate of Oneida High School, Class of 1985.
Richard was employed as a gas attendant for Sunoco at the Chittenango Rest Area for several years. He had been previously employed at Oneida Molded Plastics for 18 years and Oneida Limited for five years.
Richard was a member of the Silver Bullets, now the Upstate Independent Drum and Bugle Corps. He enjoyed camping, music especially his favorite band, Rush, and bowling. He was an avid New York Giants fan.
Surviving are his fiancé ; his four children, two sisters; three brothers, three step brothers and sisters; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Richard was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Winn.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Verona Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc., 342 Main St., Oneida. Oneida.
