His Wife is Maude McCord Chambers.

He is the Son of Joseph Daniel Chambers and Josephine Cramer Chambers.
They are Buried at Jumpertown Cemetery.

". . . Make Known Unto You, the Beloved Brother and Faithful Minister and Fellow Servant in the Lord." (Col. 4: 7.) J. Frank Chambers was Born July 26, 1875, near Booneville, Miss.

He Grew Up on the Farm and had No Opportunity of Attending School until after he was Twenty Years of Age.

He had a Thirst for Knowledge, and Attended the Normal Institute, at Chalybeate, Miss., for nearly Two Years.

Next he Attended Georgia Robertson College, National Teachers Normal, and Freed-Hardeman College a Number of Years.

He Studied the Bible under A. G. Freed and N. B. Hardeman. Brother Chambers has been a Teacher as well as a Preacher.

He Taught for Fifteen Years in the Public Schools of Prentiss County, Miss.

He Served Four Years as County Superintendent of Education in that County.

Next he Taught in Freed-Hardeman College, Henderson, TN Two Years.

He Heard his First Gospel Sermon when he was Sixteen Years of Age, and was Baptized at the Age of Nineteen by the Late John T. Preach at the Age of Thirty-Three.

His First Local Work was at Sheffield, AL where he Remained Five and One-Half Years.

He then was Located with the Church at San Diego, CA, Five and a Half Years.

He is now Located with the Church at Ripley, Miss.

He has done Evangelistic Work in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and California.

Brother Chambers Married Miss Maude McCord while Attending Georgia Robertson Christian College.

She was a Teacher and Taught with her Husband most of the time while he was Teaching.

She has been a Real Help to Him as a Gospel Preacher's Wife.

They Reared One Son, the late Smith Chambers, who was Tragically Taken by Death at the Age of Twenty-Two.

He was a Brilliant Preacher.

The Writer had the Honor of Claiming Him as "One Of His Boys." - Gospel Advocate, Jan. 20, 1944, 61.
