Vernett S. Allen Passed away October 28th, 2007, at the age of 90. 'Vern' is survived by a large family: wife, Geraldine; sons Jim and John; daughters Judy and Jan; Geraldine's son Joe and her daughter Marijo; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Born on October 16th, 1916 in Longmont, Colorado, Vern spent the first half of his life in the state before emigrating to California with his family. Vern was a proud employee of United Airlines for 52 years and bore his company ring until the day he died. He passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 28th, 2007 in Roseville, California. He will be missed for his uncanny sense of humor and warmth towards all who met him. His remains will be interred at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, California.
