Wendell Loys Duncan September 4, 1939 - July 24, 2017 SAN DIEGO In loving memory of my husband Wendell, also affectionately known as "Pops", "Grandpa", "Uncle" and "Unc", who died peacefully on July 24, 2017. He was born in Moab, Utah, September 4, 1939 to parents Loys and Lois Duncan. He is survived by wife Penelope, sons Christopher and Matthew, brothers Douglas and Robert Beckham, grandchildren Ethan, Aidan, Ryan, Meaghan and Nolan. As well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A resident of San Diego for 73 years. A graduate of Kearny High School and Los Angeles City College. Retired from the aerospace industry, having worked for General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin Corporation.

Wendell was an active member of the El Cajon Masonic Lodge and 32nd degree Mason.An executive member of the Engineers and Architects Association, as well as an active member of the Early Ford V8 Club. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

The viewing will be held on Sunday July 30th, 2017, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, trisagion immediately following. Funeral will be held on Monday July 31st, 2017, 10:00 am at St. Gregory of Nyssa Greek Orthodox Church, 1454 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, CA 92021-3752. Interment at El Camino Cemetery, San Diego.
