Miss Martha Darlage, a highly esteemed young lady, died Thursday, March 30, 1899, at the home of her mother, Catherine Darlage, east of town, aged about 30 years. She had been crippled for a number of years. The funeral was held at Sauers church Saturday, Rev. F.W. Pohlman officiating.
