Ernestine Garner Partin, age 81 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, she was born on November 2, 1935 to the late Ernest and Olamae Bucher Garner. Before her retirement, Ernestine was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved her family and friends and taking care of them, as well as anyone else who needed her. Ernestine also enjoyed gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Walter Partin; son, Ronnie Partin; and sister, Virginia Lewis. Ernestine is survived by her children, Judy (Randall) Arnold of Winchester, Bill (Linda) Partin of Winchester Springs, Perry (Joyce) Partin of Decherd, and Pam Partin (Billy Smith) of Winchester; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Mae Brown of Winchester; brother, Jackie (Gail) Garner of Winchester; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
