WOLCOTT – Mark Anthony Warren, 37, passed away peacefully July 24, 2017, at Hartford Hospital.
Mark, who was one of nine children, was born Aug. 8, 1979, in Waterbury, son of the Rev. Alfred Warren Sr. and Lucy (Powell) Warren.
Mark graduated from Wolcott High School in 1997. He attended New Hampshire Culinary Institute and earned a bachelor’s degree at Post University.
He was a devout member of the New Deliverance C.O.G.I.C. in Waterbury where his father is pastor.
Besides his parents, he leaves behind his siblings, Lisa (husband Tony Murray), Alfred Warren Jr. (wife Leto), Michele, David, Brian (fiancé Jennifer Parizo), Jennifer and Nicol Warren. Mark also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, many other close family members, friends and his church family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen (Warren) Bryant.
Mark’s family would like to send their sincere appreciation to the staff at Hartford Hospital.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 28, at 10 a.m. at New Deliverance C.O.G.I.C., 25 Crown St., Waterbury.
Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Boundline Road, Wolcott.
Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Prospect Memorial, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations made payable to: Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, D.C. 20037.
The family has chosen Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect, to handle the funeral services for Mark Warren. James R. Sanders, funeral director, will conduct the services.
