He was born in Pickens County, the son of the late Clarence and Mamie Holliday Bryant. Ralph was a retired employee with Kemet Industries and was of the Baptist faith. After his retirement he loved spending time on his ponoon boat fishing.
Surviving are his special friend and companion, Ellen Burks; sons, Hampton (Pamela) Bryant of Anderson, and Wade (Pam) Bryant of Travelers Rest, SC; daughters, Helen (Vic) Langley of Anderson, Barbara (Bruce) McGaha of Pickens, SC and Iris Gowan of Fountain Inn, SC; brother, Bill Bryant of Cleveland, TN; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son Thomas Preston Bryant; a brother, James Bryant; and sister, Alice Young.
