SuZann Stone passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born December 25, 1947 in Cleburne to Glen and Wayne Marie Cooper Bartoo. She married Clarence Alva Stone on Sept. 19, 1970 in Lubbock.
SuZann worked for nine years for the Johnson County Extension Office. She then worked as a secretary for the DPS Highway Patrol Office, retiring with 21 years of service. SuZann was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Shannon Stone in 2011.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 46 years, Al Stone; son, Chad Stone and wife Heather; grandchildren, Katy Stone, Kinsey and Case Stone, and Cooper Stone; and daughter-in-law, Jenny Stone.
Service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 17, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother David Barnum will officiate. Burial will follow at the Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Massey, Tom Morgan, Hunter Morgan, Garrett Morgan, Barry Simms and Mark Reinhardt.
