Elizabeth "Betty" A. Karabinus (nee Hefner), 76, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on July 24, 2017. Elizabeth was born on May 1, 1941 in Lakewood, Ohio.

Beloved wife of 53 years of Gary, cherished mother of Diane (Dave) Loughren and Carol (Dave) Csalos; loving grandmother of Rachel, Juliann and Connor Loughren and Megan and Halle Gosky; dear sister of Ann Spence (Pete, deceased).

She was active in Lakewood High School Alumni Association, Class of 1959, and member of Aquamasters. She was an avid boater, scuba diver, camper and knitter.

Most of all, Betty loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Church or University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, 11100 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106.

Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 21369 Center Ridge Rd., Fairview Park, on July 27. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Church, 15800 Montrose Ave., Cleveland, 44111 on Friday, July 28.

Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
