Glen William Lewis, 74, of Oak Grove, Missouri, died on July 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1943, in Buckner, Missouri, the son of William Glen and Jennie (Brosam) Lewis. He was a supervisor at Kansas City Power & Light for thirty-eight years, retiring in 2002. He built and flew his own airplane and flew to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) World Fly-In at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for twenty-four years. He was on the board of the Grain Valley Airport. He was a member of the Oak Grove Restoration Branch Church and a pastor at the Bates City Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS) Church. He was a past member of the Oak Grove School Board and Vice President of the Oak Grove Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Jackie Lewis; sister, Janet Etcheson; and one son, Matthew Lewis. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, three sons, brother, and five grandchildren. Memorial service: 12:00 p.m. July 29, 2017 at Oak Grove Restoration Branch. Burial of ashes in Sni Mills Cemetery. Arrangements: Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, Missouri.
