She retired from Walmart after 20 years and was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband: Bobby Yates; a son and daughter-in-law: Ken and Kim Yates; a grandson: Jack Yates; a brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Donna Banks; a niece: Mandy Wardlaw and a nephew: Scott Banks.
