January 8, 1965 - June 19, 2017 Robert Phelan suddenly entered heaven on June 19, 2017 at the young age of 52 to begin his eternal life. He was born in Big Spring, Texas to Robert Macum Phelan and Francine Salyer Phelan. Rob is survived by his wife of 12 years, Donna Phelan, and his children, Chas Phelan (Spencer Cook) of Kyle, Cassandra "Cassie" Phelan of San Antonio, Darby Bowerman (Jason) of Bastrop, and Zach Harwell "Rocketman" of San Antonio and his precious grandchildren LillyAnn Cook, Gavin Bowerman and Levi Bowerman. He is also survived by his mom and stepdad, John and Francine Zannidachis of Kerrville, brother, Charlie Phelan (Debbie) of Corpus Christi, sister, Debra Litman (Lt. Col. Glenn) and his Aunt Rachael (Col. James) Wilson of Roseville, California. He was preceded in death by his Papa, Robert Macum Phelan, Sr. (Father Gregory). Donna "Sugar", was the absolute love of his life. He was passionate about family and church. He was an altar server, Parish Council member, and head of maintenance at his church. He worked at various furniture stores throughout his lifetime as a salesperson, manager and owner. His friendliness, laughter, and positive attitude were infectious. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 24th at St Ephraim Antiochian Orthodox Church at 10:00 am followed by burial at Holy Archangels Monastery at 12:00 pm.
