April 2, 1956 - July 4, 2017 Deborah Ann Snyder passed from this life, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted mother and loving daughter. Debbie was born at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Waukegan, Illinois and grew up in a Marine Corps family environment. She received a degree from UCLA and after a period with a Big-Eight accounting firm, she held a series of financial positions in the filmed entertainment industry, including a decade as a Senior Vice-President with MGM/UA Studios. For the past ten years, Debbie worked for the Hammer Museum most recently as its Deputy Director of Finance and Administration. She is universally loved and respected by her family, friends and co-workers for her intelligence, wit, warmth and loyalty. She is survived by her son, Riley Patrick Cooper, parents Barbara and Henry Snyder of San Clemente, brother David A., sisters Karen, Cheryl, Kelly and an uncle David L., as well as a vast and loving devoted extended family. A private funeral was held at the Chapel of the Risen Christ, followed by interment at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Cedars-Sinai Brain Tumor Center. The family will honor Deborah with a Celebration of Life that is planned to be held in California in the near future.
