TRINITY — George Neil Graves, 78, of Trinity, died Sunday July 23, 2017. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Courtland Baptist Church with Reverend Scotty Letson officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Interment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Graves was born Feb. 17, 1939, to G.W. McCoy Graves and Vera Fowler Graves. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three sons, Richard Graves (Linda), David Graves (Michele) and Clifford Graves; one daughter, Dianne Letson (Scotty); one brother, Moody Graves; ten grandchildren, Anna Graves, Bart Graves, Rachel Wendling, Rebekah Brewer, Leslie Kerby, Cody Graves, Shanna Bryant, Lindsey Bryant, Justin Rutherford and Heath Rutherford; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bart Graves, Cody Graves, Justin Rutherford, Heath Rutherford, George Wendling, Adam Brewer, Brandon Kerby, Caleb and Joshua Wendling.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
