Keith W. "Spanky" Allan, 43, of New Kensington, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born July 14, 1969, in New Kensington, and was a lifelong resident of the local area. Keith was a graduate of Valley High School and worked for Rudy's Subs, now Tugboat, as well as Queen of Subs. He was a member of the F.O. Eagles in New Kensington and was a former Boy Scout of Troop No. 141. He enjoyed woodworking, taking his dog, Oscar, for rides on his quad and was an avid fan of all the Pittsburgh sports teams. He is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Marie (Elston) Allan; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allan. Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Alan Grote at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder St. Burial will be private. http://www.RusiewiczFH.com.
