She was born on April 23, 1945 in Mineral Springs, the daughter of the late Leonard and Madeline (Aveni) Wisor. On October 31, 1964 she married Fay Lumadue.
Retired, she had previously worked Kent Sportswear, Margrett Parks Cleaning and various other jobs in the area.
She was a faithful member of Calvary Church of God, where she taught bible school, Sunday school and played tambourine. She also sang in the religious relations group. She was one of the founders of the Concerned Christians Group at the church.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and working at Lumadue Green House. She was the number one and most faithful supporter of the Fay Lumadue Pink Panther Racing team.
Elva is survived by her loving husband Fay Lumadue, three daughters: Lori and her husband Bruce Lippert of Spring Valley, Linda and her husband Greg Swatsworth of Spring Valley and Kimberly Lumadue of Woodland; six grandchildren: Jeremy (Samantha) Lippert, Mallory Lippert, Shawna (Tyler) Maines, Erica (Craig) Yoder and Shayne (Alyssa) Lumadue; six great grandchildren: Skilynn, Legend, Evett, Easton, Ezra and Adalena; eight siblings: Marl Wisor, Arthur Wisor, Vera (John) Parks, Alice Lumadue, Marshall (Bonnie) Wisor, Rev. Stanley (Diane) Wisor, Dorothy (Sam) Maines and Leonard (Lori) Wisor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Connie Wisor and Glenda Hummel.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Calvary Church of God in Mineral Springs with the ministry team of the church officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6-9pm on Tuesday, July 25 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. an additional hour of viewing will be held from 10am until the hour of service at the church on Wednesday.
