Mrs. Sybil Smith, 92, of Center Point, passed away on July 22, 2017.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was a faithful member of Center Point Methodist Church for 62 years, a member of Good Samaritan Sunday School class, and a graduate of Woodlawn High School.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Smith, parents, Grover and Bertha Smith, grandson, Grant Smith, and two brothers, Grover C. Smith and James Kyle Smith.
She is survived by her three sons, Gary Smith (Leigh), Ronald M. Smith (Donna), and Steve Smith (Vikki), grandchildren, Beau Taylor (Laura), Niki Pitts (Zeke), Jenny Smith, Jessica Smith, Caitlin Smith, and Erica Foushee (Ben), great-grandchildren, Zoe Tidwell and Alley Grace Pitts, and brother, Byron Smith (Ann).
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 10:00am from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Keith Marriot officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville.
